Customer terms

These are the terms when your business or association uses Qonnecta for its rentals: the service, price and payment, termination, your data and liability.

Last updated Version 1.1

The Swedish version is the original; this is a translation. If they differ, the Swedish version applies.

These terms apply when your business or association uses Qonnecta. We have written them to be easy to read. The service is provided by Albin Lindén, sole trader, trading as Qonnecta ("Qonnecta", "we"). "You" and "the customer" mean the business or association that has an account with us. "Your customers" are the people who book or rent from you.

01

Who these terms apply to

1.1 Qonnecta is a service for businesses and associations. You cannot sign up as a private individual. The person who accepts these terms confirms that they are authorised to act for the customer.

1.2 The agreement consists of, in this order if anything conflicts: (a) a written quote or a separate agreement that we have both signed, (b) this document, (c) the data processing agreement, which is part of the agreement, and (d) the price list at qonnecta.se/en/pricing when you ordered.

1.3 The agreement starts when you create an account and accept these terms, or when we have both signed a quote.

02

The service

2.1 Qonnecta is a booking system for rentals. It consists of booking pages where your customers book and pay, Qonnecta Admin where you manage locations, products, prices, bookings and customers, the AI assistant (section 3) and the features included in the plan you have chosen, such as self-service with digital locks or e-signing of contracts. What each plan includes is in the price list.

2.2 There are three plans: Start, Obemannad (unstaffed) and Autopilot. With Start, the booking page shows your name and your logo in Qonnecta's standard look. With Obemannad and Autopilot it also gets your own colours. On every plan the booking page shows a small link that says "Powered by Qonnecta".

2.3 We develop the service all the time. We may change, add or remove features, but we will not make the service materially worse for you during a period you have already paid for. If we remove a feature that is part of your plan, you will be told at least 30 days in advance and may terminate the agreement at no cost.

2.4 Contact with your customers. We may send short service messages in Qonnecta's name to your customers about outages, faults, security issues and changes that affect their bookings. These messages are factual, never marketing, and go only to the contact details on the booking. We may also answer your customers' questions about technical problems with the booking page, the payment, the locks and the app. Questions about the rental itself, such as price, damage, terms and refund decisions, we refer to you. We tell you when we have contacted your customers.

03

The AI assistant

3.1 The AI assistant is included in every plan. Every plan has the chat on the booking page, which answers your customers based on what you have entered in Qonnecta (products, prices, available times and terms) and can fill in a booking for them, and the assistant in Qonnecta Admin, which makes changes for you once you have approved them. Obemannad and Autopilot also have a morning overview. Autopilot also has automatic approval under rules you set, an inbox that answers e-mail, and a connection to ChatGPT or Claude. You switch these on yourself.

3.2 How much you can use the AI assistant each month follows your plan, within fair use. We may limit use that is abnormally high for the plan or that puts a load on the service, and we tell you beforehand when we can.

3.3 The AI assistant can make mistakes. You are responsible for what you enter and for checking suggestions before you approve them. If you have switched on automatic approval, a change made under your rules counts as approved by you. The AI assistant never makes refunds or card charges.

3.4 We do not use your data or your customers' data to train AI models, and our AI provider may not do so either.

04

Account, setup and going live

4.1 Creating an account and testing a booking are free. You give no card details until you go live.

4.2 Setup is free. If you want, we set everything up for you at no cost. You can also set up your booking page yourself with the help of the AI assistant, also at no cost.

4.3 You go live when your booking page opens for real bookings from your customers. You then register a payment card, or agree with us on invoicing, and from that day you pay for the plan you have chosen. There is no free trial period after go-live.

4.4 If you never go live, you do not need to do anything: nothing is charged. If you want us to delete the account and what you have entered, tell us and we will.

05

Prices

5.1 The price is per location and month. A location is a place where you rent things out, such as a station with trailers or a building with storage units, with the products that belong to it. If you have several locations, you pay for each one. How many products, locks or bookings you have at the location does not affect the price.

5.2 The prices and what each plan includes are in the price list. In Sweden prices are in Swedish kronor, in Denmark in Danish kroner and in other countries in euros. All prices exclude VAT. The price list when you ordered, or the price in your quote, applies to you until the price changes under section 14.

5.3 We take no commission on your bookings. Fees for card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Swish (in Sweden) and Klarna are charged to you directly by the payment provider and your bank, see section 8.

5.4 Locks and other hardware are not included in the price, see section 10.

06

Payment

6.1 Monthly payment: paid in advance each month through our payment provider Mollie, by card or another payment method Mollie offers, or by invoice if we have agreed on that. The first payment is charged when you go live.

6.2 Annual payment: paid in advance for 12 months. You get 12 months for the price of 10.

6.3 If you add a location or move to a more expensive plan during a period, the difference is charged from the same day. If you remove a location or move to a cheaper plan, it applies from the next period.

6.4 Money back. If you are not happy, tell us within 30 days of your booking page going live. The agreement then ends and we refund what you have paid us for the service. This does not apply to locks and other hardware, which are covered by their own purchase terms.

6.5 Invoices are due within 30 days. If you pay late, we are entitled to interest on late payment under the Swedish Interest Act and a statutory reminder fee. If you have not paid 14 days after a reminder, we may pause the service until payment is made. We will tell you in advance. Bookings that your customers have already made and paid for still work during a pause, but no new bookings can be made.

07

Term and termination

7.1 With monthly payment there is no minimum term. You can terminate the agreement or a location at any time. It ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund a month that has started, except under section 6.4.

7.2 With annual payment the agreement runs to the end of the paid year. If you terminate during the year, the service keeps working for the rest of the year, and the prepaid annual fee is not refunded, except under section 6.4 or when you terminate because of our breach of contract or a change under section 14. Annual payment renews for 12 months at a time unless you terminate it at least one month before the end of the year. We remind you by e-mail before it renews.

7.3 We may terminate the agreement with 3 months' notice. With annual payment it ends at the earliest at the end of the paid year.

7.4 Either party may terminate the agreement with immediate effect if the other party materially breaches it and does not put it right within 30 days of a written reminder, or if the other party goes bankrupt or can otherwise be expected to be unable to perform the agreement.

7.5 To terminate, e-mail kontakt@qonnecta.se. We confirm the termination in writing.

08

Payments from your customers

8.1 Your customers pay you by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay through your own account with Stripe, with Swish in Sweden to your own Swish number, and with Klarna if you turn it on in your Stripe account. You connect the accounts in Qonnecta Admin and have your own agreement with Stripe and, for Swish in Sweden, with your bank. The money goes straight to you, not through us. We are not a payment institution and do not hold your funds.

8.2 Fees, payouts, refunds and payment disputes are governed by your agreement with Stripe or the bank. Qonnecta sends the payment requests and shows the result in Qonnecta Admin.

09

Your responsibilities

9.1 You rent to your customers. The agreement for a booking is made between you and your customer. You are responsible for your own booking terms, prices, VAT, receipts, cancellation rules, insurance and for making sure your rental business follows the law, for example consumer law.

9.2 You are the controller of the data about your customers. You must have a privacy policy for your customers and a legal basis for the processing. We process the data on your behalf under the data processing agreement.

9.3 You are responsible for the data you enter being correct, for having the right to use texts, images and logos, and for what your users do in Qonnecta Admin. Login details are personal. Tell us immediately if you suspect that someone unauthorised has accessed your account.

9.4 You may not use the service for illegal activities, to send spam, or in a way that harms the service or other customers, for example by trying to access other people's data or by putting an abnormal load on the system.

10

Digital locks and hardware

10.1 Locks are bought separately, from us or from a reseller. The purchase is governed by the purchase terms for the lock. Qonnecta controls the locks through the lock maker's service, today igloohome.

10.2 You are responsible for installation, batteries and physical security, and for having a fallback routine if a lock does not work. We are not responsible for faults in the lock, the lock maker's service or mobile networks that we cannot influence.

11

Your data and export

11.1 Your data is yours. By your data we mean everything you and your customers enter into the service: locations, products, prices, bookings, customers, contracts and files. We may only use it to deliver, secure and improve the service for you, under the data processing agreement. We may use anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked to you or your customers to develop the service.

11.2 Export. You have the right to get your data. E-mail us and we will produce an export of your products, prices, customers, bookings and contracts in a machine-readable format (CSV or JSON) within 14 days. It is free once a year and when the agreement ends.

11.3 When the agreement ends you have 30 days to request an export. After that we delete your data within 90 days, except what we must keep by law, such as accounting records for our own invoicing to you. Copies in backups are overwritten on our normal schedule (data processing agreement, Annex 2).

12

Availability and support

12.1 We do our best to keep the service available around the clock. Current status and past incidents are at qonnecta.betteruptime.com. We do not promise a specific availability percentage unless we have agreed on it in writing.

12.2 We prefer to do planned maintenance when few bookings are made, and announce it in advance when it affects you noticeably.

12.3 Support is given in Swedish and English by e-mail (kontakt@qonnecta.se) and phone (+46 8 400 629 94), on weekdays. We normally reply within one working day.

13

Liability

13.1 We are responsible for the service working essentially as described. If it does not and the fault is ours, we fix it within a reasonable time. If the fault is material and we do not fix it, you get a reasonable price reduction for the time the fault lasted.

13.2 Neither of us is liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost bookings, reduced turnover or liability to third parties, except in case of intent or gross negligence.

13.3 Our total liability under the agreement, including under the data processing agreement, is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service during the 12 months immediately before the damage. The limit does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence, nor to compensation to data subjects under Article 82 of the GDPR.

13.4 Claims must be made in writing within 3 months of when you noticed or should have noticed the fault.

13.5 Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for delays or faults caused by something beyond our reasonable control, such as war, decisions by authorities, strikes, widespread disruption of the internet, power or cloud providers, or cyber attacks despite reasonable protective measures.

14

Changes to terms and prices

14.1 We may change the terms and the prices. Changes are announced by e-mail to the account's administrator at least 30 days before they take effect, and price increases at least 60 days in advance.

14.2 If a change is to your disadvantage, you may terminate the agreement so that it ends on the day the change takes effect. With annual payment your price applies for the rest of the paid year.

14.3 Changes that are required by law or do not affect you negatively, such as a new feature or clearer wording, may take effect immediately.

15

Intellectual property

15.1 Qonnecta, the software, the design and the documentation belong to us or our licensors. During the agreement you may use the service for your own business.

15.2 You give us the right to use your content (logo, images, texts) to deliver the service, for example to show it on your booking page. We may name you as a customer or show your booking page as an example only if you have agreed to it.

16

Confidentiality

Neither of us may disclose the other party's confidential information, such as business terms, prices in quotes or technical details, without consent. This does not apply to information that is already public or that must be disclosed by law. Confidentiality continues for 3 years after the agreement has ended.

17

Miscellaneous

17.1 You may not transfer the agreement without our written approval. We may transfer the agreement to another company that takes over the service, provided the terms do not get worse for you. We will tell you if we do.

17.2 Notices are sent by e-mail to the addresses we have for each other. Our address is kontakt@qonnecta.se.

17.3 Swedish law applies to the agreement. Disputes that we cannot resolve together are decided by the general courts, with the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
